Powers of Attorney are simply making a person able to act on someone else’s behalf. Many people choose to set this in place long before they need it. As its name suggests this is power that once written is intended to last indefinitely, even if the person for whom it was written looses the ability, for whatever reason, to manage their own affairs. This Power is often written and held in conjunction with a person’s Will.
