Lasting Powers of Attorney

Giving a Power of Attorney is simply making another person able to act on your behalf. Many people choose to set this in place long before they need it. As it's name suggests, this Power, once written is intended to last indefinitely, even if the person for whom it was written looses the ability, for whatever reason, to manage their own affairs. This Power is often written and held in conjunction with a person’s Will.
